The 7 questions meme

if you want me to ask you seven questions about yourself, stick a comment below. These are from november_girl

1. Do you see yourself living in South London long term?

Not forever. There are beautiful places in Carshalton/Bromley/Beckenham,but they don't have London postcodes, so I don't know if they count. No, one day I think it will be time to leave...

2. So we have the sails spread and enough food to last us - where are we going?

Do you recall Skye and the Moray Firth? Well, how's this for a plan; We'll sail out of Cornwall and up the West Coast, until we find Skye again; then we'll stop awhile and explore the Cullen Hills, and when we are ready, back on the boat to find all the islands, west to east, Shetlands, Hebrides, all of them. We'll explore them all till we're faced with a choice: to drop anchor at a port in a land of snow giants, and trek with huskies beyond the mountains, or to keep sailing until the Northern Lights engulf our ship. After that, it's time for the pub!

3. What was your most recent job?

Poo shovelling!

4. If you had the opportunity to live in a beautiful and remote cottage with wildlife and nice views and all that lovely inspiring stuff, but had to learn to drive to make it workable - would you do it?

Yes. I would be terrified of failing my test and wasting lots of money but for that place I would try with all my heart.

5. What do you think your life will look like in 15 years' time?

I will be 65! Honestly I have no idea. But I am becoming a person I have a lot of time for, so that's one trajectory to keep on track. I hope to be always with larians and by then I hope we have time enough for canine company as well as pusscats! And maybe some pigs. Oh, and a goat or two...

6. Are you on better terms with your father these days?

He has friended me on FB! And keeps posting photos of his youthful self to my wall! I had to tell him off very gently and he was most mortified that I didn't want my page to be a family shrine. But I was civil and so was he, so that's some improvement.

7. What is or was your favourite item of clothing?

Three really: a navy blue dress, with a little chain on the top pocket. It got me a job out of every interview I wore it to. Also a red chiffony wraparound with little black swirls on it, the cut of it was unbelievably attractive and feminine. Both of these fell apart. But when my old green velvet dress is beyond help, I will turn it into a cushion cover. I have some wonderful memories associated with it.

It's a metaphor...actual poo shovelling would have been more fun!

Hahaha, now that makes more sense. My brain didn't consider it being a metaphor - on a slow day! Sounds like whatever it actually was, was pretty rubbish too!

Urm, yes go on then, I'd like 7 questions if you don't mind :-)

4. Do you like pasties?

5. In an ideal world with time and resources, what dance style would you like to master?
